Course Overview

The Gospel is the good news that God sent Jesus to deal with humanity’s sin. It is “the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.” In his letter to the Romans, the apostle Paul explains the Gospel as God’s plan to provide deliverance for sinful people from the penalty, power, and presence of sin through Christ’s sacrificial death. All God requires of us is to respond to His grace with faith and trust. Romans gives the clearest and most extensive explanation of what Jesus accomplished on the cross and how the Gospel has the power to change our daily lives.
